Would someone please provide insight into how I can get the Netgear adapter functioning? Ideally, you could provide a Step 1: Download this driver (please provide the link and or command) Step 2: Install the driver (please provide the command) etc. I was thinking, hoping really, that a Linux utility that is already part of Mint 17.2 would automatically be able to convert it and use it. However, when I try to execute it, the Archive Manager gives me an error message that says, "An error occurred while loading the archive." I know it's a Windows file and I am running Linux. When I open up the download folder it shows one Windows. rchResults) and downloaded the Software Version 1.0.0.12. I found this thread: and ran the following command: sudo apt-get install -reinstall linux-headers-$(uname -r) build-essential. I searched in the Software Manager for a driver for the Netgear A6100, but nothing came up. I am trying to get a Netgear A6100 WiFi USB Adapter to work. I'm running Linux Mint 17.2 Cinnamon and am more or less a novice so please be patient with me.
